grunging up some candles

Winter is in full swing here in Maine... to say it is cold is putting it lightly. Yesterday it was so cold that some power lines and poles snapped, Thank goodness we didn't lose the power. It seems this cold and snow winter is finding me not very motivated to get my projects done... Last night I decided that I had to get something done so I decided to work on Grunging up some candles. They are in process and waiting for the final coat.

I love to grunge things. I say things because I no sooner get started and then have to run and see what else I can grunge. Love the way the house smells also. Such a fun winter project.

That's something I haven't done. Need to put that on my list of things to learn that and blacken beeswax. Bet it smells good.

I am addicted to grunging! Lol! I grungy waxed some fruit that I'm going to post hopefully soon. I think they turned out pretty neat. I also have some wooden clothespins waiting for some grunging hopefully this weekend. Love your candles, they turned out great!
